Saakya - Luxury Himalayan Products & Experiences

Saakya follows a small-batch, provenance-led production model rooted in the Eastern Himalayas. We work closely with local artisans, women-led self-help groups and specialised small-scale producers across Darjeeling, Kalimpong and Sikkim to source and create products that reflect the ingredients, traditions and craftsmanship of the region. Our products are produced in small batches using carefully selected raw materials. For example, our Himalayan herbal incense is hand-rolled in Kalimpong using herbs and aromatic ingredients and is made without a bamboo core or charcoal, resulting in a low-smoke incense experience. Our teas, specialty coffee and other regional products are similarly sourced and produced in collaboration with trusted local producers. Each batch undergoes quality checks for product consistency, finishing and packaging before being approved for sale. The products are then packed in Saakya's premium, gift-ready packaging, with a strong focus on preserving their provenance while presenting them for contemporary consumers. Our approach combines traditional Himalayan knowledge and local production with modern quality, branding and packaging standards, while supporting small producers and livelihoods within the Eastern Himalayan region.
