Shipping & Delivery Policy

Effective Date:16 June 2026•Last Updated:16 June 2026

1. Introduction

This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how orders placed through the Copdrop marketplace are confirmed, processed, shipped, tracked and delivered.

Cop&Drop Private Limited operates Copdrop as an online marketplace connecting customers with independent sellers. Products displayed on Copdrop are generally sold and fulfilled by the seller identified on the relevant product or order page.

By placing an order through Copdrop, you agree to this policy, the applicable seller's fulfilment terms, our Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy, Terms of Use and other policies displayed on the platform.

2. Marketplace and Shipping Roles

The parties involved in shipping an order may include the customer, the seller, Copdrop and one or more third-party logistics providers.

Seller: Prepares, packs and dispatches the product, unless fulfilment is being handled through another arrangement disclosed on the platform.

Logistics provider: Collects, transports and attempts delivery of the shipment.

Copdrop: Facilitates the order, provides order information and tracking where available, and assists with shipping-related support and disputes.

Customer: Provides accurate delivery information and ensures that an authorised recipient is available to receive the shipment.

Copdrop does not ordinarily manufacture, store, package or physically transport products sold by independent sellers. However, Copdrop may coordinate with sellers and logistics providers to help resolve delivery-related issues.

3. Serviceable Locations

Orders may be delivered only to locations serviceable by the seller and the available logistics provider.

3.1 Pincode Serviceability

Serviceability may be checked using the delivery pincode entered on the product page, cart or checkout page.

A pincode displayed as serviceable at one time may later become temporarily unavailable because of courier restrictions, local disruptions, product characteristics, seller location or operational limitations.

3.2 Restricted Locations

Delivery may be unavailable or subject to additional time in:

  • – Remote or difficult-to-access locations
  • – Locations affected by weather or natural disasters
  • – Areas under local restrictions or security controls
  • – Military or restricted government zones
  • – Locations where the available courier does not provide service
  • – Addresses requiring special access permissions

If an order cannot be delivered to the selected location, the order may be cancelled before dispatch or returned to the seller after dispatch.

4. Order Processing

Order processing begins after the order and payment have been successfully confirmed, subject to seller acceptance, inventory availability and fraud or payment verification.

4.1 Order Confirmation

An order confirmation acknowledges that Copdrop has received your order request. It does not always mean that the seller has completed packing or handed the shipment to the courier.

An order may be cancelled before dispatch if:

  • – The product is unavailable or out of stock
  • – The seller cannot fulfil the order
  • – The delivery address is not serviceable
  • – Payment or account verification fails
  • – A pricing, inventory or technical error is identified
  • – The order appears fraudulent or violates platform policies

4.2 Processing Time

Sellers generally process orders within one to three business days unless a different timeline is displayed on the product, seller, cart or order page.

Certain products may require additional preparation time, including:

  • – Made-to-order products
  • – Customised or personalised products
  • – Pre-order products
  • – Products requiring quality checks
  • – Products shipped from a remote seller location
  • – Products subject to regulatory or documentation requirements

Any additional preparation or dispatch period displayed on the product page forms part of the estimated fulfilment timeline.

4.3 Business Days

Business days generally exclude Sundays, public holidays, bank holidays and days on which the seller or logistics provider is not operational.

Orders placed after operational cut-off hours may begin processing on the next business day.

5. Estimated Delivery

An estimated delivery date or delivery range may be displayed before checkout and in the order details after purchase.

5.1 Estimated Delivery Date

The estimated delivery date may depend on:

  • – Seller processing and dispatch time
  • – Pickup location
  • – Customer delivery pincode
  • – Courier service availability
  • – Selected shipping method
  • – Product weight, size or handling requirements
  • – Public holidays and non-working days
  • – Operational or weather-related conditions

5.2 Estimates Are Not Guarantees

Delivery dates are estimates unless Copdrop expressly states that a delivery date is guaranteed.

A delay beyond the estimated date does not automatically mean that the shipment is lost or that the order is eligible for an immediate refund. Copdrop may first investigate the shipment status with the seller and logistics provider.

6. Shipping Methods

The shipping methods available for an order depend on the seller, destination and logistics providers servicing the route.

6.1 Standard Shipping

Standard shipping is the default delivery method for most eligible orders. The estimated delivery timeline will be displayed before or after checkout where available.

6.2 Express Shipping

Express or expedited shipping may be offered for selected sellers, products and locations. Additional charges may apply.

Express shipping generally reduces transit time after dispatch. It does not necessarily reduce seller processing, customisation or preparation time.

6.3 Seller-Managed Shipping

Some sellers may arrange shipment using their own approved logistics provider. In such cases, tracking detail, delivery updates and pickup arrangements may be supplied by the seller or their chosen courier.

Sellers remain responsible for providing accurate shipment information and complying with Copdrop's fulfilment standards.

7. Shipping Charges

Applicable shipping charges will normally be displayed before payment is completed.

Shipping charges may vary depending on:

  • – Seller location
  • – Delivery destination
  • – Shipment weight and dimensions
  • – Order value
  • – Number of sellers or shipments
  • – Selected delivery speed
  • – Product handling requirements
  • – Promotional shipping offers

Free shipping, discounted shipping or shipping promotions may be subject to a minimum order value, selected products, eligible sellers, specified pincodes or a limited promotional period.

If an order contains products from multiple sellers, applicable shipping charges may be calculated separately for each seller or shipment.

8. Split and Multiple Shipments

Products in one Copdrop order may be supplied by different sellers or dispatched from different locations. As a result, they may:

  • – Be packed separately
  • – Have different tracking numbers
  • – Be shipped by different logistics providers
  • – Arrive on different dates
  • – Generate separate shipping updates

Delivery of one shipment does not mean that all items in the order have been delivered. Check each seller order or shipment in the order details page.

9. Order Tracking

Tracking information will be provided where it is made available by the seller or logistics provider.

9.1 Tracking Availability

After dispatch, you may track your order through:

  • – My Account → My Orders
  • – The relevant order details page
  • – Email, SMS or in-app shipment notifications
  • – The courier tracking page, where a tracking link is provided

A tracking number may become active only after the courier scans the package into its network.

9.2 Tracking Update Delays

Tracking events may not appear immediately. Courier systems can take time to reflect pickup, movement, out-for-delivery or delivery scans.

A temporary absence of tracking updates does not necessarily mean the shipment has stopped moving or is lost.

10. Delivery Address

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address when placing an order.

10.1 Accurate Address Information

The delivery address should include:

  • – Recipient’s full name
  • – House, flat, building or premises number
  • – Street, locality and landmark where helpful
  • – City and state
  • – Correct postal pincode
  • – Active contact number
  • – Any access instructions reasonably required for delivery

10.2 Address Changes

An address change may be requested before shipment, but the change is not guaranteed.

Once the seller has packed or dispatched the order, Copdrop, the seller or courier may be unable to change the delivery address. A new order may be required.

To request a change, contact customer support immediately and provide the relevant order number and corrected address.

10.3 Incorrect or Incomplete Address

If delivery fails because the address, pincode or contact number provided by the customer is incorrect or incomplete, the shipment may be returned to the seller.

Original shipping charges may not be refundable where the delivery failure resulted from information provided by the customer. Additional shipping charges may apply if reshipping is approved.

11. Delivery Attempts

The logistics provider may make one or more reasonable delivery attempts depending on its operational policy and the delivery location.

11.1 Recipient Availability

The customer should ensure that the recipient or an authorised person is available at the delivery address.

The courier may contact the phone number provided in the order. Failure to answer courier calls may result in a failed delivery attempt.

11.2 Failed Delivery

Delivery may fail where:

  • – The recipient is unavailable
  • – The customer cannot be contacted
  • – The address is incomplete, incorrect or inaccessible
  • – The recipient refuses to accept the package
  • – Required payment cannot be completed for a pay-on-delivery order, where offered
  • – The location is temporarily restricted or unserviceable

If further delivery attempts are unavailable or unsuccessful, the shipment may be returned to the seller.

12. Proof of Delivery

A logistics provider may record proof of delivery using one or more of the following:

  • – Delivery status scan
  • – Recipient name
  • – Recipient signature
  • – One-time delivery code
  • – Photograph of the delivered package or location
  • – GPS or location data
  • – Confirmation from building security, reception or an authorised recipient

Do not share a delivery one-time password before physically receiving the shipment and checking that the external package corresponds to your order.

13. Delivery Delays

Copdrop and sellers aim to have orders delivered within the displayed estimate, but delays may occur.

13.1 Common Reasons for Delay

  • – High order volumes or sale periods
  • – Seller processing delays
  • – Courier pickup or sorting delays
  • – Weather, flooding or natural disasters
  • – Public holidays, strikes or transport disruption
  • – Remote delivery locations
  • – Regulatory, security or local access restrictions
  • – Incorrect address or customer unavailability
  • – Technical problems affecting shipment or tracking systems
  • – Events beyond the reasonable control of Copdrop, the seller or courier

13.2 Support for Delayed Orders

If an order has passed its estimated delivery date, you may contact Copdrop support with the order number.

Copdrop may:

  • – Review the latest tracking information
  • – Contact the seller or logistics provider
  • – Request an investigation
  • – Provide a revised delivery estimate
  • – Initiate cancellation or refund where the shipment cannot reasonably be completed

Investigation timelines may vary depending on the courier, route and shipment status.

14. Lost or Missing Shipments

A shipment is not treated as lost solely because tracking has not updated for a limited period. Copdrop or the seller may first request an investigation from the logistics provider.

14.1 Marked Delivered but Not Received

If tracking shows that the order was delivered but you have not received it:

  1. Check with family members, neighbours, reception, security staff or other authorised recipients.
  2. Check entrances, mail areas or any safe location commonly used for deliveries.
  3. Confirm that the delivery address and phone number in the order are correct.
  4. Report the issue to Copdrop as soon as reasonably possible, preferably within 24 hours of the delivery scan.

Copdrop may request a courier investigation and proof of delivery before deciding the appropriate resolution.

14.2 Shipment Declared Lost

If the seller or logistics provider confirms that the shipment is lost, the customer may be offered:

  • – A replacement, subject to availability
  • – A fresh shipment with the customer’s agreement
  • – A refund to the original payment method
  • – Another resolution agreed between the customer, seller and Copdrop

The chosen resolution may depend on product availability, customer preference and the seller's ability to provide a replacement.

15. Damaged or Tampered Packages

Customers should inspect the external packaging before accepting delivery wherever reasonably possible.

15.1 Before Accepting Delivery

If the package appears materially torn, opened, resealed, crushed, wet or tampered with:

  • – Take clear photographs or video of the package
  • – Ask the delivery agent to record the condition where possible
  • – Do not share a delivery OTP before receiving the package
  • – Refuse delivery if the package appears seriously compromised
  • – Report the issue to Copdrop promptly

15.2 After Delivery

If damage, missing contents, a defect or an incorrect item is discovered after opening the shipment:

  1. Preserve the product, tags and all packaging.
  2. Take clear photographs and, where possible, an unboxing video.
  3. Report the issue through the order page or customer support.
  4. Submit the evidence within the period stated in the Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy.

Claims concerning damage, defect, missing contents or an incorrect item will be handled under the Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy.

16. Return to Origin

Return to Origin, or RTO, means that an undelivered shipment is returned by the logistics provider to the seller or dispatch location.

16.1 Reasons for RTO

  • – Repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts
  • – Customer or recipient unavailable
  • – Incorrect or incomplete address
  • – Customer could not be contacted
  • – Delivery refused
  • – Location became unserviceable
  • – Payment could not be collected for a pay-on-delivery order, where offered
  • – Shipment was damaged during transit and could not be delivered

16.2 Refund After Return to Origin

For prepaid orders, an applicable refund will generally be initiated after the seller or designated facility receives and verifies the returned shipment.

The refund amount may be subject to the Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy. Shipping charges may be deducted where delivery failed because of an incorrect address, customer unavailability, delivery refusal or another reason attributable to the customer, to the extent permitted by law and disclosed before or during the transaction.

Refund processing and bank settlement timelines are separate. Once a refund is initiated, the time taken for the amount to appear depends on the payment provider and issuing bank.

16.3 Reshipping

Reshipping is not automatic. Where reshipping is permitted:

  • – The customer may need to confirm or correct the delivery address
  • – Additional shipping charges may apply
  • – The product must remain available
  • – The seller must agree to dispatch the product again
  • – A new delivery estimate will apply

17. Refused Delivery

A customer may refuse delivery where the external package appears materially damaged or tampered with.

Refusing an apparently intact shipment because of a change of mind may cause the order to be returned to the seller and handled under the cancellation and return provisions applicable to that product.

Any refund following refused delivery may be processed only after the package is returned and verified. Original shipping charges may not be refundable where permitted by the applicable policy and law.

18. International Shipping

Unless expressly stated on the product or checkout page, Copdrop currently treats orders as domestic deliveries within India.

If international shipping is introduced for a product or seller, additional terms may apply, including:

  • – Customs duties and import taxes
  • – Identity or import documentation
  • – Restricted-product rules
  • – Longer delivery timelines
  • – Customs inspection or clearance delays
  • – Different return and refund arrangements

Any applicable international shipping terms and charges should be displayed before the order is completed.

19. Seller Responsibilities

Each seller is responsible for:

  • – Maintaining accurate inventory information
  • – Processing orders within the displayed timeline
  • – Packaging products safely and appropriately
  • – Using accurate product and shipping documentation
  • – Handing the correct shipment to the logistics provider
  • – Providing valid tracking information where applicable
  • – Responding to delivery-related enquiries and investigations
  • – Complying with applicable consumer, product, tax and shipping laws
  • – Cooperating with returns, replacements and refunds

Copdrop may monitor seller fulfilment performance and take action where a seller repeatedly delays, misroutes or fails to fulfil orders.

20. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • – Providing a complete and accurate delivery address
  • – Providing an active contact number
  • – Ensuring that the address is accessible
  • – Being available or authorising someone to receive the shipment
  • – Checking the external package before acceptance
  • – Not sharing a delivery OTP before receiving the package
  • – Reporting delivery issues promptly
  • – Preserving packaging and evidence for disputed deliveries
  • – Treating delivery personnel respectfully

21. Copdrop’s Role

Copdrop may assist by:

  • – Displaying estimated delivery information
  • – Providing available tracking information
  • – Sharing shipment notifications
  • – Connecting customers, sellers and logistics providers
  • – Investigating delayed, lost or disputed shipments
  • – Facilitating refunds or replacements where approved
  • – Monitoring seller fulfilment performance
  • – Maintaining customer support and grievance channels

Because Copdrop does not ordinarily control a seller's premises or the courier's physical transportation network, Copdrop cannot guarantee that every shipment will be picked up, transported or delivered without interruption.

Nothing in this policy limits any right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

22. Events Beyond Reasonable Control

Copdrop, sellers and logistics providers may not be responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond their reasonable control, including:

  • – Natural disasters
  • – Floods, storms, extreme weather or fire
  • – War, terrorism, civil unrest or public disorder
  • – Government restrictions or regulatory action
  • – Strikes or transportation shutdowns
  • – Public health emergencies
  • – Internet, telecommunications or power failures
  • – Courier network disruption
  • – Security restrictions or inaccessible delivery areas

Where such an event occurs, reasonable efforts may be made to complete delivery, offer a revised estimate or provide an appropriate alternative resolution.

23. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

This policy governs the shipment and delivery of orders. It does not independently create a right to return or exchange a product.

Returns, exchanges, cancellations, damaged-item claims and refunds are governed by:

  • – The policy displayed on the relevant product page
  • – The seller’s applicable return or exchange terms
  • – Copdrop’s Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy
  • – Applicable consumer protection law

Where there is a conflict, mandatory rights available under applicable law will continue to apply.

24. Policy Updates

Copdrop may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy to reflect changes in:

  • – Marketplace operations
  • – Seller fulfilment processes
  • – Logistics providers
  • – Delivery methods
  • – Legal and regulatory requirements
  • – Customer support procedures

Material changes may be communicated through an updated effective date, platform notice, email or other appropriate method.

The version in effect when an order is placed will generally apply to that order, except where a change is required by law or provides greater protection to the customer.

Cop&Drop – Where culture, commerce and creativity collide

“In India, there are so many small indie brands, each doing something different, something creative. But even with all that talent, most of them never get the recognition they deserve. We’ve all come across great products on Instagram or while scrolling, but it’s hard to keep track. You click on one profile, then another, open multiple websites, and it just becomes a mess. That’s where the idea for Cop&Drop started. We were tired of discovering something amazing, only to forget where we saw it or struggle to buy it. So we thought, why not bring all these brands together in one place? Cop&Drop is a marketplace where you can find handpicked indie brands from across India. Whether it’s something made in a city or a small town, everything is curated and put in one space. It makes things simpler, for both the shoppers and the consumers. You don’t have to scroll through endless posts anymore. And for the brands, they get a proper platform to grow. But we’re not just building a shopping site. We’re building a space where local creators, whether they’re artists, designers, creators can actually get seen. Where small brands can grow together, get support, and maybe even reach beyond India. We want people to connect with the stories behind these products, not just buy them. Our goal is to make it easier for small indie brands to be discovered, appreciated, and supported. Whether you’re someone who creates or someone who just wants to explore something different. Cop&Drop is where you’ll find it.”
