1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Copdrop website, marketplace, customer account, rewards features and related services operated by Cop&Drop Private Limited.
By creating an account, browsing the platform, placing an order, connecting an Instagram professional account, participating in a promotional task or otherwise using Copdrop, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and the other policies referenced here. If you do not agree, do not use the applicable service.
2. About Copdrop and Marketplace Role
Copdrop is an online marketplace connecting customers with independent sellers. Unless expressly stated otherwise, products displayed on Copdrop are offered, sold and fulfilled by the seller identified on the product or order page.
Copdrop facilitates discovery, checkout, payment processing, order information, customer support and dispute assistance. Copdrop does not ordinarily manufacture, own, store, package or physically transport products sold by independent sellers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
3. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law. Users under 18 may use Copdrop only through a parent or legal guardian who accepts responsibility for the account and transactions.
You may not use Copdrop where doing so would violate applicable law, sanctions, court orders or contractual restrictions binding on you.
4. Accounts and Security
You may need a Copdrop account to access certain services.
4.1 Registration Information
You must provide accurate, current and complete information and promptly update it when it changes. Copdrop may verify account details and may refuse, restrict or close accounts containing false, incomplete or misleading information.
4.2 Account Security
You are responsible for protecting your password, OTPs and devices and for activity occurring through your account. Notify Copdrop promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. Do not share verification codes or permit another person to impersonate you.
4.3 Communications
You agree that Copdrop may send transactional communications concerning login, orders, payments, shipping, returns, account security, rewards and policy updates through email, SMS, WhatsApp, push notification or in-app messaging, subject to law. Marketing communications may be managed through available preferences.
5. Products and Orders
Product availability, descriptions, specifications, prices, images, return labels and fulfilment estimates are provided by sellers or generated from seller-supplied information and may change before an order is accepted.
5.1 Product Listings
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy, authenticity, legality, safety and quality of their products. Colours and appearance may vary depending on photography, lighting and device displays.
5.2 Order Acceptance
An order confirmation means Copdrop has received your order request. A binding sale is subject to successful payment where applicable, seller acceptance, inventory, serviceability and fraud or compliance checks.
Copdrop or the seller may cancel an order before dispatch where the product is unavailable, the address is unserviceable, verification fails, a technical or pricing error occurs, or the order violates these Terms or applicable law.
5.3 Pricing and Inventory Errors
Despite reasonable efforts, a listing may contain an incorrect price, discount, inventory quantity or product detail. Where a material error is identified, the order may be cancelled and any captured payment will be refunded through the original or another lawful payment method.
6. Prices, Payments and Taxes
Prices and applicable charges will be displayed before payment. Unless stated otherwise, displayed consumer prices include applicable taxes. Shipping, convenience or other lawful charges may apply and will be disclosed during checkout.
6.1 Payment Processing
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. You authorise Copdrop and its payment partners to process the transaction and necessary payment-related information. Copdrop does not guarantee that every payment method will always be available.
6.2 Refunds
Approved refunds are initiated in accordance with the applicable return, cancellation or dispute decision. Bank or payment-provider settlement timelines begin after the refund is initiated and are outside Copdrop's direct control.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping, delivery estimates, tracking, delivery attempts, split shipments, refused delivery and return-to-origin matters are governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy and any seller-specific fulfilment terms displayed before purchase.
Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly stated to be guaranteed. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate address and ensuring that an authorised recipient is available.
8. Cancellations, Returns and Exchanges
Cancellations, returns, exchanges, damaged-item claims and refunds are governed by the policy displayed on the relevant product page, the seller's applicable terms, Copdrop's Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy and applicable consumer law.
You must comply with stated reporting periods, return conditions and evidence requirements. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.
9. Copdrop Credits, Rewards and Promotions
Copdrop may offer credits, coupons, referral benefits, promotional rewards or other incentives under campaign-specific rules displayed on the platform.
9.1 Nature of Credits
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Copdrop credits are promotional, have no cash value, are not legal tender, cannot be transferred, sold or withdrawn, and may be used only for eligible transactions or benefits on Copdrop.
9.2 Earning and Using Credits
Eligibility, verification requirements, value, minimum purchase, permitted products, redemption limits and validity may differ by campaign. Credits are awarded only after Copdrop determines that the stated conditions have been satisfied.
9.3 Reversal and Expiry
Copdrop may withhold, reverse, expire or correct credits resulting from cancellation, refund, duplicate claims, system error, abuse, misleading submissions, manipulation, breach of campaign rules or suspected fraud. Where practical, relevant information may be shown in the user account or communicated to the user.
10. Connected Instagram Features
Copdrop may permit users to connect an Instagram professional account for voluntary promotional tasks and rewards. Instagram is a service of Meta and is not owned or controlled by Copdrop.
10.1 Account Connection
By selecting Connect Instagram and completing Meta's authorisation process, you authorise Copdrop to access only the Instagram information and permissions presented during authorisation. You must connect an account that you own or are authorised to manage. Copdrop does not request your Instagram password.
10.2 Task Verification
Copdrop may use the connected account's username or identifier, account type, permitted media or story information, connection status and token metadata to verify whether an eligible task was completed, prevent duplicate or fraudulent claims and award, reconcile or reverse Copdrop credits.
A submission does not guarantee approval. Verification may depend on the content being available to Copdrop through Meta's APIs, satisfying campaign instructions and remaining available for the required verification period.
10.3 User Responsibilities
- – Comply with Instagram, Meta and applicable advertising or disclosure rules
- – Do not submit content or activity belonging to another person without authority
- – Do not use bots, purchased engagement, fabricated evidence or deceptive methods
- – Do not delete, materially alter or hide task content before verification is completed where continued availability is required
- – Ensure that promotional content is lawful and does not infringe third-party rights
10.4 Disconnection and Deletion
You may disconnect or revoke Copdrop's access through available Copdrop settings, through Meta or Instagram settings, or by contacting Copdrop. Disconnection stops future access through the integration but does not automatically reverse valid credits or remove records that must be retained for security, fraud prevention, rewards reconciliation, disputes or legal compliance.
Instagram-related collection, retention and deletion are further described in our Privacy Policy and public Data Deletion Instructions.
11. User Content and Reviews
You retain ownership of content you submit, including reviews, photographs, comments and support evidence. You grant Copdrop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, display and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure and promote the platform, subject to our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that it is accurate, lawful and not defamatory, misleading, obscene, infringing or harmful. Copdrop may remove or restrict content violating these Terms.
12. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- – Use Copdrop for fraud, unlawful activity, impersonation or unauthorised commercial activity
- – Interfere with security, authentication, platform availability or another user's access
- – Scrape, crawl, copy or extract platform data through unauthorised automated means
- – Upload malicious code or attempt to access restricted systems, accounts or information
- – Manipulate reviews, referrals, rewards, discounts, task verification, orders, returns or refunds
- – Harass sellers, customers, staff or service providers
- – Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions or obtain duplicate promotional benefits
- – Use Copdrop or connected services in violation of third-party platform rules
13. Intellectual Property
Copdrop's name, logos, interface, software, design, text, graphics and other platform materials are owned by or licensed to Cop&Drop Private Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except the limited right to use the platform in accordance with these Terms.
Seller trademarks and product content remain the property of their respective owners. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit protected material without appropriate permission.
14. Third-Party Services
Copdrop may integrate with payment providers, logistics providers, Meta or Instagram, analytics services, communication providers and other third parties. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies. Copdrop is not responsible for a third party's independent systems, availability or conduct, except to the extent required by law.
15. Privacy and Data Protection
Our Privacy Policy explains how Copdrop collects, uses, stores, shares and deletes personal information, including information associated with connected Instagram professional accounts. By using Copdrop, you acknowledge those data practices.
16. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Copdrop at any time. Account deletion remains subject to completion of pending orders, returns, refunds, disputes, legal retention and fraud-prevention needs.
Copdrop may restrict, suspend or terminate access, cancel promotional benefits, or take protective action where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, suspected fraud, repeated policy violations, misuse of rewards, harm to other users or material breach of these Terms.
17. Disclaimers
Copdrop is provided on an “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Copdrop does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content, continuous availability of integrations, permanent availability of a listing, or that every seller, product, courier or third-party service will meet your expectations.
Sellers remain responsible for products, descriptions, statutory warranties and fulfilment obligations. Nothing here excludes warranties or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Copdrop will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential losses, loss of profits, business, opportunity, goodwill or data arising from use of the platform or third-party services.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Copdrop's aggregate liability arising from a particular transaction will not exceed the amount paid by you for that transaction, except where a different remedy is required by applicable law or results from fraud, wilful misconduct or another liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
19. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify Copdrop and its officers, employees and service providers against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful conduct, infringement of third-party rights, fraudulent reward claims, unauthorised content, or material breach of these Terms.
20. Events Beyond Reasonable Control
Copdrop, sellers and service providers may not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, war, civil unrest, government action, strikes, public-health emergencies, payment or courier disruption, internet or power failures and third-party platform outages.
21. Complaints and Disputes
First contact Copdrop support with your account details, order or task reference and supporting evidence. Copdrop may request additional information and may coordinate with the relevant seller, payment provider, logistics provider or platform.
Nothing in these Terms prevents an eligible consumer from approaching the National Consumer Helpline, an appropriate Consumer Commission, e-Daakhil or another statutory authority with jurisdiction.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including applicable provisions of the Indian Contract Act, 1872, Consumer Protection Act, 2019, Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, Information Technology Act, 2000 and other applicable laws.
Subject to mandatory consumer rights and statutory forums, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts and authorities in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
23. Changes to These Terms
Copdrop may update these Terms to reflect changes in services, features, law, security, platform requirements or business operations. Material changes may be communicated by an updated date, platform notice, email or another appropriate method.
The version in effect when an order is placed will generally apply to that order, except where a change is required by law or provides greater protection. Continued use of other services after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
24. General Provisions
- – If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect
- – Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision
- – You may not assign your account or rights under these Terms without Copdrop's written consent
- – Copdrop may assign these Terms as part of a merger, restructuring, financing or transfer of business, subject to applicable law
- – These Terms and incorporated policies form the agreement governing the relevant services
- – Headings are for convenience and do not limit interpretation
